Doechii and SZA Show How Persuasive They Are in New ‘Persuasive’ Remix Music Video
“How does it feel to be you?” American Artists SZA and Doechii ask in their new empowering remix of Doechii’s original single “Persuasive.”
The remix of her hit single “Persuasive” features the first lady of Top Dawg Entertainment, SZA, originally known as Solana Rowe. SZA is an American singer most known for her 2017 album Ctrl. The project has gathered a cult-like following through its ability to accurately explain the universal experience of being a femme-identifying 20-something. The original single is an upbeat, house-inspired rap track. However, with the addition of SZA in the remix, the song becomes a slower R&B/ House/ Pop bop.
Fans on Twitter extended warm wishes and words of admiration to the pair. View some of our favorite fan reaction tweets down below.

The original music video amassed an impressive 1.8 million views on Youtube and was Doechii’s first single released under Top Dawg Entertainment.
It is no surprise that Doechii was able to curate an entirely different vibe for the official remix music video. Although she has been known to precisely execute her creativity, Doechii outdid herself by serving the fans six different looks and concepts throughout the three-minute video. Some of the most striking visuals include the underwater pole dancing, body paint plaster, and Doechii’s car-top golden goddess look alongside SZA. This highly anticipated female duo was able to collect approximately 149,000 views on Youtube within the first day of the video’s release.
Doechii, originally Jaylah Hickmon, is an American rap artist from Tampa, Florida. Her use of exemplary wordplay and creative concepts has earned her spot as the second female artist to join Kendrick Lamar’s home label, Top Dawg Entertainment.
