Lindsay Lohan Teases New Netflix Film Falling for Christmas
On October 3, 2004, Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was, but on the same date in 2022, Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to tease her upcoming Netflix film Falling for Christmas. In the recent tweet, Lohan posted the film’s new poster as she poses alongside Glee alum Chord Overstreet.
She captioned the tweet, “It’s October 3rd. Now get ready for November 10th. (What happens on Wednesdays again??).“

Of course, fans responded to the tweets with gifs of the iconic October 3 scene and excitement over the Mean Girls actress returning to the screen as this is her first major role in almost a decade.

In the film, Sierra (Lohan), described as “extravagant, temperamental and glamorous,” is a newly engaged hotel heiress. She embarks on a ski trip which quickly goes downhill when she gets into an accident and ends up with amnesia. The charming lodge owner (Overstreet) takes her into his care days before celebrating Christmas with his daughter.

In an interview with Netflix, Lohan mentions, “It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy and I miss doing those kinds of movies.” Not only is Lohan starring in the film, but she is also a producer as a part of her three-picture deal with Netflix. Next up is the film Irish Wish, a romantic comedy with a supernatural element, more details on that later but talk about a comeback.
You might be wearing pink today, but be sure to get your coziest blanket out for this new film. Falling for Christmas premieres on November 10, only on Netflix.
