The Official Trailer for Daisy Jones and the Six Has the Internet Excited
Amazon Prime released the official trailer for its highly anticipated series Daisy Jones and the Six on Wednesday, February 15, and the Internet is already going crazy over it.
What started as a New York Times best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid has since become a worldwide sensation, accumulating a loyal fan base and now an on-screen adaptation.
Daisy Jones and the Six tells the story of an up-and-coming rock band in the 1970s. It follows the band’s rise to fame as it intertwines with the blossoming of a passionate, rocky love story. While the novel involves romance, the story ultimately serves as a love letter to rock and roll.
The official trailer that was released this Wednesday is riddled with 70s nostalgia and highlights the love triangle between Daisy Jones (Riley Keough), Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), and Camila Dunne (Camilla Morrone).

This trailer is long-awaited, as it was back in 2019 when Prime Video announced it would be turning the novel into a limited miniseries. Scott Nuestadter and Michael H. Weber adapted the story for television. Additionally, Taylor Jenkins Reid served as a producer on the project with executive producers Reese Witherspoon and Will Graham.
The show stars Sam Claflin alongside Riley Keough. Also, it boasts an impressive group of supporting actors, including Camilla Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Sebastian Chacon, and Josh Whitehouse. The series premiere is set for March 3 and will be ten episodes long, with new episodes released every Friday thereafter.
On top of filming the series, the cast also recorded 24 original songs for the show, two of which have been released. The first song, “Regret Me,” was featured in the show’s teaser. Furthermore, the latest single, “Look At Us Now (Honeycomb),” was just released with the official trailer. Atlantic Records will release the entire album, Aurora, as the series airs.
Following the trailer’s debut, Daisy Jones and the Six quickly began trending on Twitter. The excitement surrounding the premiere of this highly anticipated series is evident in fans’ posts.
