A Look Inside the Brandi Carlile-Hosted Joni Jam Concert
Brandi Carlile assembled her “Joni Jammers” team to help put on a legendary three-hour concert alongside Joni Mitchell at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington. Mitchell returned as the main headliner for the first time in over two decades.
Carlile enlisted the likes of Annie Lennox, Blake Mills, Lucius, Sarah McLachlan, Marcus Mumford, Celisse, Allison Russell, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, and others to celebrate Mitchell’s triumphant return to music.
Mitchell surprised audiences last year when appearing at the Newport Folk Festival. Carlile expressed, “She showed the whole world that there’s still so much goodness in us as a species. She did the revolutionary work of true reconciliation.”
Many gathered at the canyon on Saturday, June 10 for the twenty-four-song set. The setlist contained several iconic tracks in Mitchell’s discography, including “Big Yellow Taxi,” “A Case of You,” “Blue,” and “Both Sides Now.” Below is the full-song concert setlist:

Your strength, resilience, talent, and tenacity are an inspiration to us all. You raised the bar, my friend. You let your light shine and over 20,000 people shined their lights back on you like a fallen constellation. Your voice is still echoing through the canyon. ‘Love Wins,’ said Joni Mitchell, the champion of the world.”
Congratulations to Mitchell on an incredible return to the stage. Fans can stream any of Mitchell’s discography on all major music platforms.
