On Wednesday, Rapper Playboi Carti announced his 2023 “Antagonist” world tour. Fans are looking forward to the upcoming concert dates and supporting acts.

This announcement gives listeners a lot to look forward to. Accompanying Playboi Carti in select cities are fellow Opium Records label signees Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang. This tour will mark their first time performing as a collective.

This will be Carti’s first headlining tour since 2021’s “NARCISSIST” tour, which followed the release of his No. 1 Billboard charting album Whole Lotta Red. Since then, he has performed at many major festivals. Carti is set to headline Rolling Loud Miami 2023 and Finland’s Blockfest before beginning the tour.

The “Antagonist” tour kicks off on September 6 in Denver, Colorado. The tour continues in North American cities through October before the European dates begin in November.

It is speculated that Carti’s sixth studio album, titled MUSIC, will be released before the European leg of the tour. This was previously stated in the tour’s description by the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin venue.

“After the release of his new album ‘MUSIC’ the 26-year-old artist will pay Europe a visit in the context of his ‘Antagonist Tour,’” the ticketing venue stated.

However, they have since altered the description and removed the statement about this alleged album.

Many fans aren’t convinced that this deleted statement means MUSIC is on the way. When the “NARCISSIST” tour was announced, one of the venues mistakenly wrote that he would release a new album titled Narcissist. While many news sites and social media pages reported this, the album was never released.

The Atlanta rapper hasn’t released any solo music since Whole Lotta Red. However, he was recently featured on “Popular” with artists The Weeknd and Madonna, which was released as a single supporting The Weeknd’s series The Idol.

The “Antagonist” tour presale began today at 12 p.m. ET, with the general sale beginning on Friday at 12 p.m. ET. You can check out the tour dates and purchase tickets on Carti’s website.
