American Horror Story Drops First New Trailer With Kim Kardashian for Season 12
American Horror Story released its first teaser trailer for the series’ twelfth installment on July 20. A new face to the series is set to hit the screen: Kim Kardashian.
In preparing fans for another mind-twisting, jaw-dropping season from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Story has begun dropping its short teaser trailers. With their twelfth season on the horizon, fans were given a sneak peek at some of the cast.
With Emma Roberts returning, fans can expect a hint of past American Horror Story seasons to stay alive. From the teaser trailer, Roberts will be sharing the screen with Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian.
Already, fans have begun their predictions for the twelfth season. They think the series will continue a similar antichrist theme from their first season, Murder House, and eighth season, Apocalypse.
The series revealed the title of the new season: Delicate. This title paired with images of crows, a bird egg falling, and a rocking crib led fans to jump on themes of motherhood and satanism. Kardashian is also holding what is likely a baby at the end of the nearly forty-five-second trailer, adding to these speculations.

Others, though, focused on the similarities of the women in the teaser trailer. All of them are wearing white, long-haired wigs and very similar clothing while holding hands.
Fans have debated whether the upcoming season will follow similar themes from the series’ third season, Coven, or seventh season, Cult.

The song paired with the teaser trailer is an eerie rendition of the lullaby “Rock-a-Bye, Baby.” From this creative choice, it is likely that Delicate will hone in on the theme of motherhood. However, more specific details about the season and its cast remain under wraps until more teasers are released.
One outstanding detail, though, is American Horror Story bringing in the reality television star.
This is not the first time a famous public figure has been brought to the series. In the series’ fifth and sixth installments, Hotel and Roanoke respectively, Lady Gaga graced the screen. After her iconic role as The Countess, she returned to the sixth season to feature as the wicked ancient witch, Scáthach.
Fans, though, have mixed feelings about Kardashian’s emergence into the American Horror Story scene. Some were hoping to see some of their favorites return, such as Evan Peters or Kathy Bates, instead.
