Spotify kicked off February with its 2024 Best New Artist party in Los Angeles. The event was brimming with upcoming stars. Here’s an inside look at the event.

On February 1, some of Hollywood’s biggest rising stars gathered at Paramount Studios to commemorate the nominees for the upcoming Grammy Awards. Moreover, artists like Reneé Rapp, Kesha, Becky G, Laufey, Conan Gray, and Dove Cameron were in attendance.

“Spotify’s Best New Artist party celebrated the brightest in music today, featuring performances from almost all of the nominees for Sunday’s Best New Artist Grammy,” Rolling Stone stated. The nominees are stacked this year, to say the least. Up for the award are Gracie Abrams (fresh off her opening act in Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour), EDM artist Fred Again, pop princess Ice Spice, Jelly Roll, Coco Jones, Noah Kahan, Victoria Monét, and The War and Treaty.

The evening was nothing short of eventful and talent-packed. In addition, every single nominee except Fred Again took to the stage. Monét put on a fantastic show, complete with matching green outfits and coordinated choreography.

Other artists, such as Noah Kahan and Jelly Roll, brought out surprise guests like fellow nominee Gracie Abrams and Country Queen Lainey Wilson to onstage during their performances. We love to see it.

The final performance of the night was Ice Spice, bringing the house down with performances of her hit songs “Fart (You Think You’re the Sh*t)” and “Deli”– all while stunning in a black and white striped bodysuit.

Best of luck to these talented musicians. Make sure to tune into the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4.
