Indie boy band Wallows has officially released the second single from their upcoming album, Model. Could it be the song of the summer?
As of the morning of March 21, indie-pop boy band Wallows released their newest single, “Calling After Me,” and it’s a certified banger. The group hardly promoted the song, announcing its release just a day before dropping it. If you are unfamiliar with the band, you may recognize lead singer and actor Dylan Minette from his role as Clay Jensen in the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why and his work starring alongside Jack Black in the Goosebumps movie franchise.
And there it all is… ‘Model’ out May 24th.

The release started with a bang, as the band released a statement on X expressing their excitement for the song.

In the post, the band commented, “Been real excited for this one to come out for a while now and it’s finally yours. Please enjoy.” The post included a picture of Minette in a red shirt holding a telephone, fitting the song’s title perfectly.
Their newest song, “Calling After Me,” follows the release of the lead single of their upcoming album, Model, entitled “Your Apartment.” Frontman Minette and his band are incredibly talented, incorporating a groovy baseline and snappy drums into their newest single. The song is perfect for summer drives with the windows down and days on the beach.
