Becky G Teases New Era
Like a boomerang, she returns. Becky G has officially started teasing a new era.
The “Fulanito” singer updated her social media in preparation for a new musical era. Becky G cleared her Instagram account, sharing a post on March 30 teasingly captioned, “nottttt a lot going on at the moment.”
The artist has since made two additional posts. Each features a black and white cover image on her profile. The singer also updated her profile picture to a silhouette.

Fans immediately noticed the change, with some wondering if this meant they would receive a deluxe version of Esquinas. Becky G’s regional Mexican album was released last September.
The Mexican-American vocalist created the record to celebrate her heritage. In regards to its title, Becky G explained to Hola, “I have always identified as not this side or that side of the streets that raised me, but the corner where two flags, two cultures, two languages meet.”
However, the singer confirmed that the cryptic new branding relates to something else on April 2 when she replied to a fan asking, “ESQUINAS DELUXE?!” The Latin icon hinted, “orrrrrr a brand new era.”

This will be Becky G’s fourth studio album, following the success of her previous hits, Esquinas, Esquemas, and Mala Santa.
Fans expressed their reactions to “BG4” coming online. One user wrote, “I CANT STOP NOW IM CRYING CAUSE WYM A WHOLE NEW ALBUM WHOLE NEW SONGS TO CRY TOO!?!??!?” Another shared, “IM SAT. NEW BECKY G ERA.”

Some users even joked about cutting bangs to match the “Por el Contrario” singer’s recent hairstyle in preparation. Becky G acknowledged entering her “bangs era,” replying to one post, “true.”

Last month, the Latin pop star released a single titled “Boomerang.” It is unclear whether or not the track will appear on the new LP.
