Carey effortlessly draws in listeners with her incredible vocals, blending harmonious melodies that linger long after the song ends. Dupri expressed his belief in the caption for the video that adding a remix version to a song keeps it fresh and appealing, writing, “You know a song ain’t a song without a remix, baby @munilong.”
The highlight is the eagerly awaited lead single off Long’s upcoming album, Made For Me, which Def Jam will release later this year. Fans eagerly anticipate this musical masterpiece, which showcases Long’s growth as an artist.
Long enthusiastically interviewed with the Genius team, exploring the intriguing story of the conception and creative process behind the soul-stirring song “Made For Me.”
“I really want people to understand how epic the musical production side of this song really is. It is strong. I started ‘Made for Me’ at home with Jelli [Dorman], who is one of the engineers I work with. It was just piano vocal. So we took it to JD and Brian-Michael Cox, and they actually produced the record.”
The “Time Machine” artist continued, “Shout out to them for believing in a young artist. JD was like, ‘I’m telling you, I’m telling you this record is a monster.’ And I was like, ‘All right, JD.’ He just texted me this morning and was like, ‘I be knowing. I told you so.’ He was right. I’m gonna give you that.”
The song has no release date, but you can listen to Muni Long’s music here.
