Following the success of her sixth studio album, BRAT, Charli XCX just dropped an exciting deluxe version of the new album.

On June 6, the “Von dutch” singer released her highly anticipated sixth album, BRAT. The new album was immediately met with massive critical acclaim and success, debuting with 15.4 million streams on Spotify and becoming the singer’s biggest album debut to date. As a treat for her fans, Charli XCX released a new deluxe version of the album on June 10, titled Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not.

After a spot on the Barbie soundtrack attracted a new crowd of fans, the hyper-pop artist made sure to keep everyone’s attention with BRAT’s eye-catching, lime-green cover art. The “360” singer also changed the covers of her past albums to match the iconic, early 2000s-inspired cover of BRAT. The cover of Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not follows this pattern, with its hilariously lengthy title filling the square of its simple white background.

The release of the deluxe version of BRAT did not come without fanfare. Leading up to the release of the original album, lime-green BRAT walls began popping up in several cities worldwide, with the “Talk talk” singer making appearances at these walls occasionally. The day before the deluxe album was released, Charli XCX went on TikTok Live to record a new wall being erected. With its white background, the new wall mimics the cover of Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not.

As its humorously direct title suggests, there are three new tracks on the deluxe version of BRAT, including “Hello goodbye,” “Guess,” and “Spring breakers.” As fans enjoy the new tracks, the original version of BRAT continues to grow in popularity. As of now, the new album has earned a Metacritic score of 95, ranking as one of the site’s top 20 albums of all time and becoming its number-one album of this year. HITS Daily Double also predicts that the album will debut at number four on the Billboard 200, which would earn the singer’s first top-five spot on the chart.

Fans can stream BRAT and its deluxe version on all platforms.
