BTS’s Jungkook Announces New Project I AM STILL

Although the announcement does not specify the nature of the project, the BTS fanbase, ARMY, speculates that it may be a documentary.
During promotions for his single, “Seven,” and his first solo album, GOLDEN, Jungkook appeared on his bandmate SUGA’s series SUCHWITA, where he revealed that he was filming a documentary. “It follows the process from ‘Seven’ to my album,” the “Standing Next to You” singer told SUGA.

“Seven” was Jungkook’s first solo single, broke records, and spent nine consecutive weeks at number one, reigning as the number one global song of Summer 2023.
While discussing the project, the artist mentioned the difference between filming with his bandmates and working alone. “When you film with other members, the cameras aren’t all focused on you,” he explained. “But I always kind of feel pressured talking in front of cameras alone.”
ARMY also resurfaced a clip of the singer sharing details about his projects after he enlisted in the military, telling his fans to wait about six months after his enlistment.

Although more than six months have passed, the proximity to his estimated timeline suggests that JUNGKOOK: I AM STILL could be the documentary and project he asked ARMY to wait for.
There are no further details from the announcement regarding a release date or teaser, but fans are surprised and excited to see Jungkook on the big screen.
