Brat summer may be over, but Charli xcx is about to jumpstart Brat autumn with a new “Talk Talk” remix. This time, she’s teaming up with close friends Troy Sivan and Dua Lipa ahead of her and Sivan’s highly anticipated “SWEAT Tour.”

The singer confirmed Sivan’s involvement by posting a snippet on social media. The video features them singing along to part of Sivan’s verse and dancing on stage during rehearsals for the tour. This collaboration makes sense, considering their upcoming joint venture where fans anticipate they will perform the new remix.

While not officially confirmed by the “360” singer or Sivan, Lipa is good friends with the pair. During their appearance on the Late Night Show with Seth Meyers, they talk about their friendship with Lipa, recalling a time she encouraged Sivan to dance to his song, “Rush,” at a party.

On xcx’s secret Instagram account, she posted an audio message from Lipa that stated, “Charli, Troye, un besito para ti mwah.” The Spanish message translates to “Charli, Troye, a little kiss for you, mwah.” While on the surface, it looks like a wholesome message to friends, the choice to use Spanish could be referencing a line in “Talk talk,” in which xcx sings, “Talk to me in Spanish.”

On Instagram, the producers of “Rush,” Staylz Fuego and Zhone, posted the remix snippet tagging Lipa alongside Sivan and xcx. The posts were later deleted.

Lipa has never collaborated with either artist, but Sivan and xcx have previously worked together on the songs “1999” and “2009.”

This collaboration comes off the heels of a fan-speculated remix album. She has previously released remixes with Addison Rae, Billie Elish, Lorde, and Yung Lean. While xcx herself has alluded to more remixes, she has not confirmed an entire album. Either way, this new collaboration has fans ecstatic and excited to ride out the lime green wave into the year’s second half.

The remix does not have an official release date yet, but in the meantime, you can listen to Brat here.
