Starting in January of 2025, Coldplay is back for their “Music of the Spheres” tour, performing in cities in the United Kingdom, India, Hong Kong, and many more. After kicking off their tour in March of 2022, they have made record-breaking ticket sales, reaching 10 million dollars worldwide, making the band the most highly attended tour by any group.

The tour announcement comes just before the release of the band’s newest album, Moon Music, featuring singles such as “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and “WE PRAY,” featuring artists Little Simz, Burn Boy, TINI, and Elyanna. It sets a precedent that the tour will be something that many fans will remember for years. The tour has already received recognition from iHeartRadio and the American Music Awards for Favorite Touring Artists and Tour of the Year.

Along with the songs from the recently nominated “Album of the Year,” Music of the Spheres, and singles from their new album, they will also feature some classics from over the years, such as “Yellow,” “Vida La Vida,” “Paradise,” etc.

The tour starts in Asia, with dates set for January and April. They will perform in venues such as Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi and Dy Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Fans in India are already raving on social media that Coldplay will be performing in India after nine years, according to Indian Express. Since one of their hit singles, “Hymn for the Weekend,” was recorded in India, so performing in the country where they recorded it is only fitting.

The tour continues in the United Kingdom, with dates set for August. The band will be performing in Wembley Stadium in London and Craven Park Stadium in Hull following their headline performance at Glastonbury in June of 2024, according to Billboard

The tour will also feature musical guests like female artist Elyanna and mystery guests that have yet to be determined.

There is so much in store for the British rock band in the coming year. From touring worldwide and receiving much admiration from their fans, Coldplay is the band it gets someone “feeling drunk and high.”
