Le Sserafim Ignites a New Era With Hot EP
Le Sserafim is ready to set the K-pop world ablaze with their highly anticipated fifth EP, HOT, set to release on March 14.
On February 16, Source Music and the official Le Sserafim X account announced the upcoming release, sparking excitement among fans eager to see the group’s latest evolution.

The following day, a detailed promotion schedule was unveiled, mapping out a series of teasers leading up to the EP’s grand release on March 14.
The group’s album trailer, titled “Born Fire,” offers a visually striking first look at the EP’s concept. The video opens with a sign reading, “HOT / We’re hot on our own / 2025,” setting the tone for an intense and self-assured era.
The opening scene is reminiscent of a museum, where each member is displayed like an exhibit, motionless and observed by the public. Dressed in ethereal white, flowy gowns, they appear frozen in time—until an unexpected catalyst changes everything.
A small, winged cat suddenly appears, disrupting the stillness and triggering a chaotic transformation. The once-passive members begin to break free from their stationary state.
Amongst the madness, the camera pans to an elevator-like switch cycling from “Cold” to “Warm” to “Hot” and finally “Super Hot.” As the temperature rises, so does the intensity of the visuals and music. The background soundtrack shifts into pulsating EDM beats and electronic drops, creating a sense of urgency and exhilaration.

As the trailer progresses, Le Sserafim embraces bold, cinematic visuals that symbolize rebirth and empowerment. There are powerful scenes where the members perform surreal feats, such as controlling flames with their fingertips, holding a lit lighter to their tongue, and emerging from the ashes with wings of fire.

Individual narration from each member references the beauty, power, and purification of fire, “Drawn to the wavering beauty, the flame believed that the reason for its existence was to burn ever brighter.”
