Some of the movie’s stars took to their social media to give fans a sneak peek and share their excitement for the film.

Lead actress and Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev posted shots from the film on her Instagram with the caption, “#LOVEHARD COMES OUT ON @NETFLIX ON NOVEMBER 5TH‼️ I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO SEE THE FILM.️”

Glee alum Harry Shum Jr. took to his Twitter to share the news with fans and said, “Got to be in a Christmas movie! Out November 5th!” Shum is no stranger to romantic comedies, as he starred in the tear-jerker All My Life in late 2020.

Fans immediately shared their support and anticipation for the romantic comedy.

The movie is a typical modern-day love story featuring West Coast native Natalie (Nina Dobrev), who swipes right on Tag (Darren Barnet), the guy she thinks is the Mr. Right of the East Coast. She travels to his part of town to surprise him for the holidays, and it’s safe to say that things don’t go according to plan.

Unfortunately, things are too good to be true, and Natalie soon finds out that Tag’s friend, Josh (Jimmy O. Yang), catfished her.

In good ‘ole Christmas movie fashion, there is always a way to some magic. The guy who catfished Natalie makes a deal with her; he would set her up with Tag as long as she pretended to be Josh’s girlfriend for the holidays.

Want to know the rest? We do too. Don’t stress, the film’s premiere is just around the corner on November 5.
