Disney+ just released the trailer and artwork for the upcoming season, and it’s the summer camp we’ve always wanted to attend. At the top of the trailer, EJ picks up Gina, Carlos, Kourtney, and Ashlyn; they can barely contain their excitement after finding out that this year’s camp will feature a secret celebrity.

Right after, we find out that the secret celebrity is none other than Corbin Bleu, a.k.a. Chad Danforth, from the original High School Musical series. He announces that the campers this year will put on a production of Frozen, and immediately the competition begins; onstage and off.

Off stage, Gina (Sofia Wylie) and EJ (Matt Cornett) are a new couple, but soon after, there seems to be trouble in paradise as Ricky (Joshua Bassett) and Gina look a little too friendly in EJ’s eyes.

On stage, Gina and Ricky both plan on auditioning for lead roles. While Gina has several amazing auditions under her belt, Ricky seems to “Zefron” his way to lead roles, as stated by Carlos.

As mentioned a few months ago, Nini (Olivia Rodrigo) is a guest star this season, but we still see her multiple times throughout the trailer. She doesn’t join the gang at camp, but she’s seen having a heart-to-heart with Ms. Jen.

In addition to Bleu and Rodrigo, this season has a number of exceptional guest stars, including Jason Earls, Jojo Siwa, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Meg Donnelly. Like in previous seasons, this season will have a combination of new music and Disney classics like “What Time Is It?” from HSM and “Start The Party” from Camp Rock.

Season three of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is shaping to be a summer favorite. Be sure to check out the premiere on July 27 on Disney+. Watch the exciting trailer below.
