The HCA Creative Arts Awards is meant to champion the work of artists behind the scenes of some of the most reputable films of the year.

Everything Everywhere All at Once has been tied with Paramount Pictures’ Top Gun: Maverick with seven nominations dedicated to their astounding visuals.

A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once has given audiences the adventure of a lifetime with tearjerking moments. Directed and written by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinbert, the fantastical film has garnered 21 awards and 37 nominations. The performances by Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, and the rest of the ensemble cast were celebrated across audiences.

In addition, Top Gun: Maverick welcomes audiences with its nostalgic comeback featuring Tom Cruise reprising his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. This award-winning film has shot its flight sequences in real-time with no CGI. The film gave fans a realistic experience of actual pilots soaring through the sky with aircraft paid for by the U.S. Department of Defense.

Based on their notable achievements, it’s no surprise they have been nominated for Best Cinematography, Stunts, and Visual Effects.

The Batman was a huge success among DC fans. The motion picture features Robert Pattison dawning the cape of the dark knight and Zoë Kravitz as the seductive Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. Directed by Matt Reeves, this crime drama showcases a dark gritty tone with colorful cinematography which satisfied many Batman fans.

HCA celebrates Matt Reeves’ The Batman by landing the film in third place with six nominations such as Best Makeup and Hair, Score, and Sound.

Other films with multiple nominations include Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, alongside S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR, James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water, Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, and Gina Prince-Bythewood’s The Woman King.

HCA has dedicated its Creative Arts Awards to artists that work behind the screens and has developed films that serve the pallet of many cinephiles. Congratulations to all nominees and the cast and crew for their respective films. Stay tuned on Friday, February 17, 2023, to watch and celebrate the winners of the HCA Creative Arts Awards.
