SZA is back with more music. The “Nobody Gets Me” singer released the music video to her standout track, “K*ll Bill.”

After fans have waited patiently for a new songs from SZA, the singer undoubtedly delivered after a five-year hiatus. She released her sophomore studio album, SOS, on December 9. The record contains a whopping twenty-three tracks and features collaborations with Phoebe BridgersJay Versace, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and the late Ol’ Dirty B**tard.

SZA teased the music video to “K*ll Bill” on December 29. She simply wrote, “It’s what y’all deserve.” This announcement elated fans. It would not be long before she would release the video, as fans only needed to wait another twelve days.

On January 10, the “K*ll Bill” music video arrived, and it pays homage to the iconic film of the same name. Quentin Tarantino’s K*ll Bill was released in 2003. The martial arts film that starred Lucy Liu and Uma Thurman quickly went on to achieve cult status. The second installment of the film was released one year later in 2004.

The visuals were directed by Christian Breslauer and produced by London Alley. SZA honors the incredible work of Tarantino and his crew, including a cameo made by Vivica A. Fox, who embodied the role of Vernita Green in the film. In addition to her appearance, the video also references “Budd’s trailer, samurai swords, and motorcycles, as well as O-Ren’s anime sequence and the iconic showdown at the House of the Blue Leaves against the Crazy 88.”

Congratulations to SZA on another incredible album and music video. Fans can attend one of SZA’s stadium tour dates with special guest Omar Apollo. SOS is available to stream on all major music platforms. The “K*ll Bill” visual can be viewed below.
