New Scream VI Trailer Reveals Ghostface in NYC
The trailer for the sixth installment of the deadly thriller, Scream VI, is here. The film will debut in theaters on March 10.
Returning to the cast is Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter. Alongside Ortega, Melissa Barrera returns as Sam Carpenter with Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin and many others. Joining the cast is Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving (Snake Eyes), and Dermot Mulroney (Insidious: 3).

The film returns following the young group of friends after the latest Ghostface murders. Mindy, Chad, and Tara have dedicated themselves to their studies while Sam tags along watching out for them. Looking for a fresh start, they move across the country from Woodsboro, California, to New York City.
Disturbed by the city’s obsession with Ghostface, the friend group comes into contact with Kirby Reed, who first appeared in Scream 4, and Gale Weathers, a character that originated from the 1996 film Scream.

Neve Campbell, who stars as Sidney Prescott, revealed she will not be reprising her role in the upcoming film. In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, she describes her decision to not return as difficult but necessary. “I did not feel that what I was being offered equated to the value that I bring to the franchise, and have brought to the franchise, for 25 years,” she continues, “as a woman in this business, I think its really important for us to be valued and to fight to be valued.”
