New Avatar: The Way of Water Trailer Has Just Been Released
The first trailer for the upcoming release of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water has arrived. The film will be hitting theatres on December 16. The Avatar sequel is based on the original 2009 blockbuster hit and will give the audience a whole new perspective.
The first Avatar film was directed and produced by James Cameron (Titanic). Jon Landau helped produce the movie. The film featured Zoe Saldaña, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet. We can’t wait for the cast to return for the second movie.
Avatar: The Way of Water takes place more than a decade after the first movie’s events. The story continues with Jake Sully (Worthington), his wife, Neytiri (Saldaña), and their children. It’s an amazing story following their adventures, troubles, love, and epic fighting.
The amazing teaser for 20th Century Studio’s Avatar: The Way of the Water showcases stunning footage of the film’s setting. The audience can view Pandora’s dazzling bright blue water. New marine mammals can be spotted in the trailer with Toruks, the magnificent animals seen in the first film. “I know one thing: wherever we go, this family is our fortress,” Jake Sully proclaims at the end of the trailer.
A new poster was released on Avatar‘s official Instagram. The caption of the new post states, “Check out the brand-new teaser poster for Avatar: The Way of Water. Experience it only in theaters, December 16, 2022.” Fans have been commenting to show their support and excitement for the film’s upcoming release.

James Cameron and his crew came up with the mo-cap suits and cameras used to capture an authentic underwater experience. Landau announced that they will rerelease the original Avatar on Sept 23. We can’t wait for the upcoming films to be shown in theatres. Book your calendars for Sept 23 and Dec 16 for the Avatar fun to begin. Until then, you can watch the trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water below.
