Adele has announced new show dates for her Las Vegas residency after a last-minute postponing of the original performances. Her residency is now set to begin in November.

Initially planning this string of performances following the 2021 release of her album 30, a January 2022 starting date was in store. The night before the first concert, Adele posted a video on her Instagram informing everyone that the shows would be postponed, stating, “We tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time, and for it to be good enough for you…”

Adele felt that the show was not ready at the time of its intended starting date. Facing obstacles like delays in the show’s setup and multiple crew members catching COVID-19, the “Easy On Me” singer commented, “…it’s been impossible to finish the show.” After multiple apologies throughout the video, the singer vocalized her determination to reschedule the residency concert dates.

Being a public figure on social media means inevitable negative comments, but most responses to the cancellation have been understanding. The circumstances were uncontrollable, and creating a performance from start to finish is a long, tedious project.

Today, Adele posted again to her Instagram announcing the new concert dates. Now, the Las Vegas residency titled, “Weekends With Adele,” is set to run from November 18, 2022, until March 25, 2023.

After months of work, the singer and her team have been able to properly finalize the show. Adele added that while her decision may have been upsetting and/or disappointing, it was the right one. Now, she can give the best show possible to her fans. She is excited to put on a performance that she is proud of, and that she knows audiences will enjoy.

In addition to rescheduling the 24 concerts that were postponed, eight new dates are in store. Adele will be performing a total of 32 concerts at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum in Las Vegas.

More information and any future updates about the “Weekends With Adele” residency can be found on Adele’s website. Tickets are not available for purchase yet, but the presale/sale process, important dates, and more are now up on Ticketmaster.
