Warner Bros‘ Shazam! Fury of the Gods trailer and poster are here. The DC movie hits comes theaters on March 17, 2023, and we couldn’t be more excited.
We were first introduced to Shazam! in 2019, where we met Billy Batson, a young boy struggling to adjust to life with yet another foster family. The film took us on a comedy action-packed journey as Billy and his foster family navigated their personal challenges while trying to save the world.
Now, the sequel to the film, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is approaching and the stakes are higher than ever. This time, the daughters of Atlas are coming, and it’s up to Billy to bring the superhero family back together to save the world.

The poster for the anticipated DC comedy sequel has arrived and fans can hardly wait. The poster reveals Zachary Levi reprising his role as Shazam, giving us a first look at the superhero’s new threads. The reds and gold of the suit are subtle and appear more sleek and rich.

Zachary Levi describes the upcoming film as “wiser, stronger, faster, funnier,” and “overall cooler.” Rachel Zegler (Westside Story) will join the DC Universe with Helen Mirren (Shazam!) and Lucy Lui (Kill Bill), who will play the villain demigods Hespera and Kalypso in the film. Returning to our screens is Asher Angel as Bill Batson and Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman. In addition, The Intruder star, Meagan Good, will reprise her role as the iconic Super Hero Darla.

DC is expanding its superhero universe with new installments to its filmography. The upcoming DC Universe films include Blue Beetle, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and the new Joker sequel.
