R&B singer Victoria Monét announced her upcoming Jaguar Tour will begin shortly after the release of her Jaguar II album in August.

Monét will perform in North America in September and October before a final London show in November. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 14.

In a Twitter announcement, she shared the upcoming tour dates and wrote, “where the Jaguar goes: can’t wait to see you there!!”

Her 11-track debut studio album Jaguar II will be released on August 25 and is now available for pre-order. The album will include her recently released singles, “On My Mama,” “Party Girls,” and “Smoke.”

Jaguar II is the sequel to Monét’s 2020 EP Jaguar. In an interview with Apple Music, she stated that it was initially supposed to be a part of a trilogy.

“You know what? I feel really lucky that, even from Jaguar part one, I had planned for it to be a three-part project,” Monet told Zane Lowe of Apple Music. “This album is called Jaguar II, so it really kind of breathes new life into part one. If you’re just now catching onto me as an artist, it’s because it’s part two, that there was a part one, so you may revisit it.”

She added, “I know that there won’t be a part three anymore, because obviously, didn’t expect to take three years in between part one and part two, or have a child in between.”

Since Jaguar, she has released a handful of singles, including collaborations with Bryson Tiller and Lucky Daye. The singer, songwriter, and producer has also written for other artists, including Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, and more.

In preparation for the tour and album, you can listen to her June 16 single “On My Mama” on all streaming platforms.
