Megan Thee Stallion debuted at Coachella with a full-blown celebration of hip-hop sisterhood and Texas pride.

The rapper took the stage in a dramatic fur coat, backed by dancers in leather jackets and cowboy hats, giving a fierce nod to her Houston roots. As the beat dropped on “Ungrateful” and “Thot Sh*t,” her dancers pulled off their coats to reveal a leather two-piece, making the crowd go wild.

Megan’s set her performance with bold choreography, charisma, and big-name cameos. Midway through, her mic wire slipped, prompting her to yell, “Somebody come out here and fix my mother***ng mic!” A quick fix later, she was back in control without missing a beat.

The highlight of the night? An epic parade of powerhouse women. Queen Latifah made a surprise appearance during “Plan B” and “U.N.I.T.Y.,” emerging from behind Megan’s dancers, owning the moment. Megan raised her hands and greeted the hip-hop legend with a warm hug.

Victoria Monét followed with “Spin” and “On My Mama,” her vocals gliding through the speakers as she danced and shared playful chemistry with Megan, paying tribute to the past, present, and future of women in music.

Toward the end, the rapper also brought out Ciara who joined the party, bringing her classic hits “Roc Steady” and “Goodies” to the stage with flawless choreography. “I love you Meg and I’m so proud of you!” Ciara stated at the end of the performance, leaving Megan emotional.

As the final song “Mamushi” kicked in, her mic cut out again. “Don’t do the Hotties like that,” Megan stated, asking for a restart. But when time ran out, she closed with a few last moves before waving goodbye. “Hotties, I gotta go. I love y’all and thank y’all!” she told the audience.

Through it all, Megan proved she’s unstoppable with her undeniable stage power even with a few technical hiccups. If you missed her performance, she will return for the second week of Coachella on April 20.
