For the newest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, Bianca Del Rio will reprise her role as host of Pit Stop, the official recap series for the show.

After several talented hosts, including Trixie Mattel, Bob the Drag Queen, and Monet X Change, fans expressed their desire for Bianca Del Rio to join the series as a host. She had built a strong fanbase after winning season 6 of the original series, even being named the most powerful drag queen in America by Vulture for New York Magazine. At the demand of fans, Del Rio first hosted Pit Stop to cover the fifteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Now, to fans delight, Del Rio will return to cover season 8 of All Stars. This time, Del Rio has further insight into the season, as All Stars is a spin-off of Drag Race that includes celebrated queens from earlier seasons, such as Darienne Lake, who Del Rio competed alongside during season 6 of Drag Race.

Darkly witty, Del Rio made a statement to Variety where she confirmed her return to Pit Stop. “Like a bad rash… I’m baaaack! The greatest thing about a new season of ‘All Stars’ is I don’t have to compete but get to judge all of them by hosting The Pit Stop,'” she joked.

Variety also confirmed upcoming guests for the upcoming series of Pit Stop, including drag queens Sugar & Spice, Alaska, Kylie Sonique Love, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Kornbread, and Peppermint.

Fans expressed their excitement on Twitter for both Del Rio’s return as well as the confirmed guest list.

It’s been an exciting year for Del Rio, as she signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and starred in Drag Me to Dinner alongside Neil Patrick Harris. The reality TV series follows two teams of drag queens who compete in a cooking challenge. She promoted the project on her Instagram.

Fans can watch Pit Stop with Bianca Del Rio following the first episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars season 8, premiering May 12 on Paramount+.
