Little Monsters beware; new Lady Gaga music is on the horizon. On a Live session with makeup artist NikkieTutorials, the 13-time Grammy winner expressed excitement about her next album. Though the pair were live to celebrate the European launch of Gaga’s makeup brand Haus Labs, Nikkie reminded the singer how excited fans are for new music.

When prompted about the highly anticipated LG7, a fanmade temporary name for the album, Gaga shared details about her creative process. “I’m working as fast as I can, but I will say I am feeling deeply inspired right now, and I’m so excited for everything that I have to show all the fans. I’m deeply grateful for everyone’s excitement in my creativity,” she stated.

Gaga began teasing fans of new music in January with photos of her in the studio. One post displays the singer in an oversized blue and orange-striped sweater with high-heeled boots. An electric guitar and tambourine rest on a nearby couch. In February, the “Stupid Love” singer shared six more studio snaps, one captioned, “No I’m not making a rock album.”

This year has already proven to be a busy one for the songstress. In February, the singer joined the Season 2 Fortnite Festival, with playable versions of her songs, dancing emotes, and character skins in her likeness.

Gaga is also scheduled to continue the Jazz & Piano portion of her Las Vegas residency which began in 2018. This leg of the residency is currently slated to run from June 19 through July 6 at Park MGM. Moreover, the Academy Award winner will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Joker Folie à Deux, a musical sequel to Joker, released in 2019. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 4.

Gaga’s next album will follow up her sixth studio album, Chromatica, released in 2020. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 63 Grammy Awards. “Rain on Me” featuring Ariana Grande won the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy, making history by becoming the first female collaboration to win. The album also featured guest appearances from Elton John and Blackpink.
