Ariana Grande‘s seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine just turned one month old, breaking countless records. Now, the pop star hints at what’s to come next.

In a recent Instagram post, the Positions artist teased the Eternal Sunshine era has “just begun” and “may it never end.” Only four months into this year, and it has already been an impressive one for Grande. The thank u, next singer has announced multiple projects. From the trailer for Wicked dropping at the SuperBowl to the arrival of her seventh studio album after a short-term hiatus from music, fans of the singer are being fed.

Firstly, Eternal Sunshine, without a doubt, is a chart-topping phenomenon, gaining popularity in just one month. Moreover, Grande also released a “slightly deluxe” version that has acoustic, acappella, and remixes featuring other artists. Who do those artists consist of? None other than Troye Sivan and the queen of pop herself, Mariah Carey.

Secondly, this is a big step for Grande in terms of her music career. Her last album, Positions, was released almost four years ago in October 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic was in full throttle. Being relatively quiet in the music world since then, the singer rapidly emerged this year in full swing with new music and live performances.

On March 9, Grande was the guest performer for Saturday Night Live with Josh Brolin as the host. Grande’s performance paid homage to the film that inspired the entire concept and era for this upcoming project, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey stars opposite Kate Winslet in the film, with Grande portraying Winslet’s character Clementine throughout the performance.

In addition, Grande also portrays the titular character in her “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)” music video guest starring Evan Peters.

Now, as the pop star releases more behind-the-scenes footage and pictures from her latest era, fans can rest easy knowing more musical content is on its way soon. In her latest Instagram post, Grande included a TikTok of her in the recording studio tweaking vocals for the title track.

It is evident Grande has no plans to stop the promotion of her latest album. The “7 Rings” singer has also limited the number of comments under her posts, leaving fans hungry for more. Grande also sat down with Zane Lowe and Zach Sang to discuss the album and how it showcases what she has gone through.

“I’m so nervous because pieces of it touch on things that are real and then pieces of it are also just like, yeah, part of the concept. So what is that separation, it’s so scary to leave it up to these selective memory people to decipher. It’s scary, but I digress. Too late, the vinyls have been printed,” Grande stated about being vulnerable throughout the album.

While being a more relationship-focused album that processes the stages of grief and separation, Grande has created a concept album that has solidified itself in being expertly crafted. According to Grande herself, she “cannot wait” to announce what is coming next in her musical era.

Until then, you can listen to Eternal Sunshine on all music streaming platforms.
